2 Corinthians 4:18 – while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

This verse reveals the important difference between sight and insight. To merely see the physical is to miss out on the most important things of all, the spiritual. Paul was able to overlook his may trials because he was singly focused on working of the Lord. A.W. Tozer said the invisible world described in the Bible was the only “real world.”

Challenge:

How can you look at things that are invisible? By faith, when you read the Word of God it tells you of the things that you cannot see, like heaven and God and Jesus. Faith is “the evidence of things not seen” Hebrews 11:1 tells you this. Your challenge this week is to exercise your faith and look past the physical and see the spiritual. See with discernment what God is trying to tell you or show you through your circumstances. He has a purpose for everything that happens in your life and He will work it for your good. God bless you.
