Isaiah 30:21 – Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” Whenever you turn to the right hand Or whenever you turn to the left.

“If you start to deviate from the path, you will hear a voice that corrects you and guides you back to the path,” is much closer to catching the meaning of this verse. When you are in danger of wandering from the direct and straight path, the voice shall call to you, and direct you in the way in which you ought to go. Notice this verse says “You shall hear a voice behind you.” The Lord has His eyes upon you at all times, even when you do not have your eyes on Him. He is watching where you are going and He is ever present to help you stay upon the path that leads to righteousness. In others words, He will see that you stay on the narrow path that leads to Him and that brings you the most fulfillment in your life. The bible says in Proverbs 14:12 “There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.” God has given you the Holy Spirit so He can keep you in the way that seems right to Him. But you must be willing to alter your course so that you stay headed in the right direction.

Challenge:

There is nothing wrong with having desires and dreams of making the most out of your life. The problem comes when you are ignoring the life God has for you in order to achieve your goals. Have you heard the voice of the Lord asking you to make a change in the direction you are currently going? Your challenge for this week is to keep your ears open to His voice of direction and guidance. Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit. He may be showing you the way that will be best for you. He may be showing you an opportunity that will be coming to you shortly. He might have a huge blessing He is waiting to give to you. Perhaps He is ready to answer that prayer you have been praying for years now. I have found in my life that the toughest times I have had to go through, have actually brought the greatest rewards in the end. No matter how hard things get, there is always the need to hope in the Lord. He is a faithful God and He will always come through for you. Listen for Him to speak to you this week. God bless you.
