Jesus charged His disciples to go and preach the gospel to all the earth. (Matthew 28:18-20) We here at Calvary Chapel take that command personally. We desire to tell the world about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. God has blessed us with the opportunities to go and share the love that Jesus has for all people. We have gone to Peru several times now and have been blessed to be used by the Lord in so many ways.
There will be other places the Lord will lead us to go and build church buildings and share Vacation Bible School with young children. But most of all He will send us to love on people. Please contact the Missions Director with any questions you may have.

Suzelle Pierre-Louis – LakayTimoun – Saint Michele, Haiti
LakayTimoun is a faith-based organization committed to serving single mothers and children in Saint Michel de L’Attalaye. We exist to provide them an opportunity to have a new life through the knowledge of the love and salvation available to them through the work of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on the cross. We want them to know that only the Lord can free them from bondage and discourage the departure of these children towards the large cities where they will end up living on the streets. We provide physical, emotional and spiritual care for orphans, single mothers and their children in order to diminish child prostitution and child begging.
Through the power of the Holy Spirit we instill in each child a love for the Lord and pride in their country, ensuring access to proper education, medical care, and freedom to enjoy their childhood without fear or burden. We also desire to develop a bond between these children and their communities in order to encourage children to invest in their communities as adults, combating the mass migration to urban areas and the growing phenomenon of city slums.
