Matthew 28:19-20 – Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

As you read this email this morning, (Monday, November 5, 2012), part of our Calvary Chapel Mexico Missions Team is on our way to San Diego to aquire the final needed items for our week in San Vicente, Mexico. The remaining team will join us on Tuesday the 6th. Why do we go to a foreign land and help a need for this family we do not know? Because Jesus Christ commanded us to do so. But there are so many needs in our own backyard, you say? How correct you are! What are YOU doing to meet those needs? Jesus Christ has commanded us ALL to go and make disciples of ALL nations. This is what we will be doing this week. Not only finishing a home for a family, but also, pouring the love of the Lord Jesus into their lives. Teaching them what He has taught us. What will you be doing this week for the Lord?

Challenge:

What can I do, I am only one person, you ask? The answer is very simple actually. What can’t you do with the help of your Savior Jesus Christ? You see, not only has He commanded you to GO, but He has assured you that He will be with you every step of the way. Your challenge this week is to do something, with the help of the Lord, that will make someone else learn about Jesus Christ. You are to be discipling, baptizing and teaching others in the Lord Jesus Christ. Have you been ministered to by others? Then you start ministering to someone. Have you been baptized in the Lord? Then you encourage someone to get baptized in Him. Have you been taught the word of God? Share the scriptures with someone today and everyday this week. Be obedient to the Lord and watch Him work mightily through you to change the world! God bless you. Or rather, Que Dios le bendiga!
