2 Peter 3:14 – Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless.

The things Peter speaks about looking forward to are the new heavens and new earth. Knowing you will stand before God one day, should stir within you a deep desire to live a holy life without spot and blameless. Peace can only come when you focus more on Jesus and less on your circumstances.

Challenge:

Is the condition of the world around you stealing your peace? My challenge for you today is to be more heavenly minded by drawing your attention away from this world and looking upward. Peace will come as you concentrate more on Lord Jesus Christ. Be amazed by the unconditional love of Jesus Christ each and every day and by the future He has for you. God bless you.
