Isaiah 40:31 – But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

Seasons of change in life are many, and the stresses that come with these changes are real. If you are not careful to depend upon God to sustain you, you will find yourself burdened to the point of exhaustion. God will provide for you in every way and He has the power to refresh your strength for the responsibilities you have. Some see this verse as the Lord providing for each season in the Christian life. The youth being mounted on eagles wings, the adults running without tiring and the mature walking strong. I personally see this as Gods strength being supplied at the very moment when you need it most in your life.

Challenge:

By waiting on the Lord, you are not to be doing nothing, but rather you are to be placing the circumstances of your existence into His hands and asking Him to provide for you according to His plan for you. What is your greatest need this week? Wait for God to supply your need. What is your greatest stress this week? Wait for God to lift your burden. Your challenge this week is to cry out to God and confess your weaknesses, acknowledge His infinite abilities and then wait patiently as He renews your strength. Remember, Jesus said in Matthew 11:30 “For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” He will help you carry what you were made to carry. God bless you.
