Isaiah 40:1 – “Comfort, yes, comfort My people!” Says your God.

“Comfort yes, comfort My people” is a sign from the true heart of the Lord. Your God has given YOU a direct mission to comfort His people. By encouraging them that their sins are forgiven. By supporting them through understanding their pain and struggles. By sharing the peace and happiness you have from the God of all comfort.

Challenge:

Have you ever found yourself discouraged and then a friend speaks to you and lifts your spirit? This is one way God brings you comfort when you need it most. Your challenge this week is to obey the word of God in this scripture from Isaiah and ask the Holy Spirit to use you to comfort others. The soul that is comforted by God is one that is at least content and one that is certainly at rest.
