Ephesians 3:14-19 – For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height, to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

As we learned this past Sunday, Paul was a man of prayer, he prayed constantly for the believers in the churches. Paul’s words in this prayer from Ephesians are so powerful, uplifting and encouraging. He asks of God five things for all believers, that they would be strengthened, that Christ would dwell in them, that they would be loving, able to understand the love of Jesus and be filled to overflow with the fullness of God. What more in this life do you need besides the things Paul prays for here? If you had all of these things in your life, nothing would be impossible.

Challenge:

Wouldn’t you love to know you had someone praying this kind of prayer for you each day? Don’t we all need prayer of this kind to be lifted up to God for us? Your challenge today is to pray this prayer every day for yourself and for at least three others you know. Boldly ask the Lord for strength, confidently ask for Jesus to dwell in your hearts and minds, that the love of Jesus would be what flows from your lives and into your lives and finally that God would fill you with all He is and all He has for you. Let’s see God answer these prayers and change our lives in a powerful way today.
