Ephesians 6:10 – Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

Here in Paul’s final remarks to the church in Ephesus, he appeals to the believers to be strong in the Lord, to depend upon His strength in their lives and to let Him fight for them for He is capable to overcome anything that comes against them. The Apostle knew this one simple fact well, in and of yourself, you are weak when it comes to spiritual things. But Paul also knew something else of much more significance, with God’s mighty strength, you are a force to be reckoned with.

Challenge:

Do you feel like a force to be reckoned with? Do you feel that your life is something that makes the enemy nervous? Let me remind you of what Psalm 8:2 says “Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength, Because of Your enemies, That You may silence the enemy and the avenger.” You see, with God in your life and with His power flowing through you, the enemy is silenced! That is great news. Your challenge today is to tap into the strength of the Lord and boldly stand against the lies of the enemy. If you are feeling weak, remember you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. (Philippians 4:13) If you are feeling discouraged, remember God is the One who lifts up your head. (Psalm 3:3) Be strong today.
