February 7

Titus 2:11-15 – For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works. Speak these things, exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise you.

Jesus gave Himself for you that you might be zealous for good works. you should have enthusiasm to perform acts of kindness in His name and for His glory. There are many things in this world that people are zealous for that have no eternal value whatsoever, you should desire to do good deeds for both the glory of God and the pleasure it brings you to be a part of God’s ultimate plan to reach all people with His great love.

Challenge:

Listen, the grace that Jesus Christ brought to you through salvation teaches you that a life that is lived in holiness brings forth great rewards. Your life can make a difference and your life should make a difference. How are you impacting the world around you? How is your life helping others to change and live godly lives as well? Your challenge this week is to be excited about the opportunities God has for you to do good deeds for others. Do something each day without being asked or reminded to do it. Go out of your way to bless someone in your life, in a way that will show them you thought of them and you care for them. Together we will begin to make a difference in others lives and at the same time, you will be living in a holy, righteous and godly way.

Grace be with you,
