John 3:16 – For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Happy Valentines Day. I thought this would be a good verse to look at this week. Never forget how much Jesus loves you and how He showed that to you by dying for your sins. The Apostle John reminds us in 1 John 4:19-20 “We love Him because He first loved us. If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?” So, you love others, because God first poured His love into you. You are to be loving to the world around you.

Your challenge this week (not just today) is to show others how much you love them. Share the love of Jesus with those around you in simple and practical ways. Love is not something that is bought from a store, it is something that comes from the heart that has been eternally changed by God. Remember, the world will know you belong to God by your love for others. May God give you the eyes to see all the ways to share His love and the will to follow through with actions. In this way, you will be living the everlasting life Jesus died for.

Grace be with you,
