December 12

1 Peter 3:8-9 – Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous; not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing.

You have been called to bless others even if they do not bless you. Peter says, if you bless others you will in turn be blessed by God Himself. Blessing someone is sign of the life of Christ Jesus living through you, because Jesus came to bless.

Challenge:

As your Pastor, I challenge you this week to find a way to bless someone so that they will know it is from God and not simply from you. So ask God to show you how to bless at least one person this week and for the strength to follow through, even in this busy season.
