SUMMARY:Turkey Trot
DESCRIPTION:Now in its 26th year\, this Thanksgiving Day tradition is a family feel-good\, do-good time. Over 3\,300 participants run/walk the 10k\, 5k\, or Kids’ Turkey Chase through the heart of Cool Springs. Many of their friends and family stand on the sidelines to cheer them on. Each Trotter crosses the finish line knowing that a local family now has Food\, Shelter\, and Support because they ran for GraceWorks. \n\n\n\n10k is $50\, 5k is $45\, and Kids Turkey Chase is $15. ($5 off each adult registration if you join team Calvary Chapel Brentwood!)

DESCRIPTION:The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May\, inviting people to pray for the nation. It was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress\, and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman. Our Task Force is a privately funded organization whose purpose is to encourage participation on the National Day of Prayer. It exists to communicate with every individual the need for personal repentance and prayer\, to create appropriate materials\, and to mobilize the Christian community to intercede for America’s leaders and its families.
