Romans 10:9 – that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

Harvest America has come and gone, but the work of the Lord continues. Their are many more lost souls that Jesus wants to save and bless. Our church had 6 rededication’s and 2 new believers make commitments to the Lord last night! Praise God! What a wonderful blessing to be a part of how God poured out His love on us all. Sharing this verse with them last night reminded me of the importance of ‘confessing’ Jesus to the people around us, so I thought it would be a great challenge for us this week. When you present the gospel, you must maintain that faith is the sole condition of justification. But you must also remind sinners and saints constantly that Jesus Christ is Lord, and must be acknowledged as such.

Challenge:

Have you confessed Jesus as Lord recently? Have your actions displayed belief in the Lord Jesus Christ? Your challenge this week is to confess Jesus with as many people as you can. Share with others what He has done for you in your life. Share what He has promised to do in all of our lives. By doing this, you too will be reminded of all the Lord has done in your life and you will be strengthened. People need to hear hope in these days and you have that hope to give to them. So go out and confess the Lord Jesus and see how He will use you in an amazing way!
