Revelation 3:20 – Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.

In this verse, we have Christ outside the professing church, politely knocking and inviting individuals to leave the apostate church in order to have fellowship with Him. The appeal is for those who hear to open the door. To them Christ promised, I will go in and eat with him, and he with Me. With Christ on the outside, there can be no true fellowship or divine riches. However, with Christ on the inside, there is wonderful fellowship and sharing of the marvelous grace of God. You would do yourself well if you would answer the door that Christ is knocking on in your life.

Challenge:

Jesus is always knocking on the door of your heart. Notice He says “I stand at the door” and not “if or when I stand at the door” because He is eternally at your door. He has a deep desire to be in close fellowship and in intimate relationship with you. Your challenge this week is to let Jesus into the areas of your life that He wants access to. If Jesus wants access to your finances so He can use them for His kingdom, open the door. If Jesus wants to be put on your schedule so He can spend more time with you and speak to you, open the door. If Jesus wants to use your abilities to help someone in need, open the door. Get to the place in your life where you can hear His voice and answer His call every single time. Remember, He is always knocking. Are you willing to answer the door? God bless you.
