Isaiah 25:8 – He will swallow up death forever, And the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from all faces; The rebuke of His people He will take away from all the earth; For the LORD has spoken.

Christ has triumphed over death, He has broken deaths power over you and has cast away all of deaths pain. The grave seemed to swallow Him up, but really he swallowed it up. You have triumphed over death, and you must look upon death as a conquered enemy: O death! where is your sting? By the grace of God there is a counterbalance to all the sorrows of this present time, that will wipe away your tears, and refresh you.

Challenge:

Through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the pain of death has been defeated. Your complete trust in Him and your continual faithfulness to Him, assure you that you too have conquered death. Eternity is a current reality for the follower of Jesus. Your challenge this week is to live with that eternal perspective. Remind yourself of the reality that everything here is temporal and limited. Draw your attention to the things that will remain and that really matter most. Love on people, love on your family and friends, show the world you belong to King of kings. May God bless you.
