John 7:38 – He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.

The word ‘believe’ that Jesus uses here can also be ‘faith’ or ‘trust’. When you place your trust IN Jesus, His life will flow OUT of your heart, because that is what God’s word promises.

Challenge:

I challenge you this week, as your Pastor, to reach out to someone who needs to be encouraged. Someone who needs to know you care about them and let God flow through you. Today ask the Holy Spirit to show you who that person is and then do not hesitate to step out in faith. Make sure your encouragement is from God’s heart and His word, not your own opinions.
