Ephesians 3:11b-12 – … Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him.
As a byproduct of the work Jesus did and your relationship with Him, you now have the inexpressible advantage of entering into the presence of God at any time, in total confidence of being heard, and without any fear of being reprimanded. Your boldness is the reverent attitude and absence of fear you have as a child addressing their Father. Your access is your liberty to speak to God in prayer at every moment in your life. Your confidence is the assurance of a warm welcome, an attentive ear and a wise loving answer. And it is all through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Challenge:
Are you bold with your conversations with God? Do you confidently ask of Him because you know He will give you the best answer? Maybe there are times in your life that you feel God is ignoring you? This verse reminds you that you have an all access pass to God because of the finished work Jesus has already accomplished. God wants you to come boldly to Him and seek His heart for all that is before you. Your challenge this week is to pray powerful prayers and believe that God will give you the perfect answer in His ideal time. James 4:2 says “You do not have because you do not ask.” I want to encourage you to ask this week and then to stay in constant communication with the Lord by checking in with Him from time to time. Ask God for travel mercies as you leave your home and go to school or to the grocery store. Ask Him for the ability to get things done with ease at your workplace. Ask the Lord to give you peace in the midst of whatever storm you may find yourself in today. You can confidently ask of Him because Jesus has opened the door and given you access to the your Heavenly Father. May God bless you always.
