Helping Hands

The Helping Hands Ministry at Calvary Chapel Brentwood is currently building a list of volunteers who would be interested in participating when a need arises, either within, or outside of the church. Examples of some needs might include preparing meals for those experiencing a debilitating sickness or to families with newborns, delivering meals to those in need, providing transportation to an appointment, visiting someone in the hospital, or meeting some other one-time need.

This ministry provides support and comfort to our brothers and sisters in Christ, and it gives the body an opportunity to reach out to them in their time of need. As it says in John 13:34-35 “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Being on the Helping Hands Ministry list doesn’t mean that you would be required to meet a particular need. It just means that you would receive an email when a need arises. If you are willing and able to meet that need, you would respond and the ministry will coordinate the event. If this is a ministry that you would be interested in being a part of, please fill out the form below and your name will be added to our active list.

Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
