Nashville Rescue Mission
639 Lafayette St
Nashville, TN 37203
You have an opportunity to serve at the Nashville Rescue Mission. Sacrifice two and a half hours EARLY on Thanksgiving morning to serve men breakfast at the Mission. Be a small part of a blessing that will go out to Nashville’s homeless population. Anyone 10 years old and above can serve.
YOU MUST call the Nashville Rescue Mission at (615) 312-1544 on November 1 at 8 AM. Each family or individual has to call for themselves. This opportunity is first come first serve.
Arrival: Please plan to arrive at your scheduled time. Because of the tremendous response from our community, all volunteer shifts have been filled, so it will not be necessary to arrive earlier or serve later than your scheduled shift. Rest assured, by arriving at your scheduled time, you will have ample time to register and make your way to your assigned volunteer area.
Personal Belongings: Due to limited storage space, we kindly ask you to consider leaving your personal belongings, including your heavy coat, in your locked car.
Attire: All volunteers are asked to wear closed-toe shoes while serving. The Mission will provide an apron, hairnet, and gloves for all volunteers. Should you prefer to wear your personal ball cap in lieu of the hairnet the Mission provides, we certainly welcome you to do so.
