I was raised in a loving home. The idea of success and “the meaning of life” were conveyed to me through images of how the world measured worth; obtaining a good job, getting the girl, starting a family, retiring, and then dying. These images didn’t contain any facets of God.
My first interaction with church and God was at a young age; in the Sunday school that I would get dropped at each week. It didn’t take long before I altogether stopped attending because I felt it was taking away from other things I’d rather be doing.… Read MoreEmail Pastor Rob Taylor (rob null@null ccbtn NULL.org)

Beautiful wife, house on the water, two gorgeous little boys and a good paying job. What more could you ask for? Life was good to me. That was the only problem. My life was all about me.
My work background was firmly rooted in construction. Since the age of 14, that’s the only work I knew. Carpenter and concrete finisher by trade. In 1995, I started my own business. A self made man. Not exactly. As I got to the pinnacle, of what I thought was my career, things got complicated.… Read MoreEmail Pastor RJ Granda (rj null@null ccbtn NULL.org)

I grew up in the 60’s when many young people were questioning the faith and the values of the previous generations. After years of disillusionment, the Lord Jesus called me to Himself on Thanksgiving Day, 1979. I have had many ups and downs in my walk since that day, but the Lord has been faithful to hold me close to Him. The Lord called me to serve Him in a church planting ministry in 1984 which resulted in me pastoring a small urban congregation in Birmingham, AL until 1991.… Read MoreEmail Pastor Larry Mitchell (larry null@null ccbtn NULL.org)
I grew up in a very moral and loving Catholic home that knew Jesus Christ as the Savior of the world, but didn’t fully comprehend Him as our personal Savior. As a junior in high school, I was never fully satisfied and was attempting to find fulfillment in drugs, relationships and success in sports. All this changed when I was not only introduced to the consequences of my actions, but to a more personal and caring Jesus Christ. My parents had begun seeking the Lord apart from the Catholic church, and when confronted with the fears of my own selfish choices, I chose to quit avoiding Jesus Christ and found out what it meant to have salvation, grace and a personal relationship with Him.… Read MoreEmail Trent Schmidt (trent null@null ccbtn NULL.org)
I grew up in the Bible belt, going to church every Sunday, and my parents are strong believers. I would have always said I was a Christian from the time that I learned to talk, but I did not truly know Jesus and I was basically a kid with good morals, but no real faith. I do not know if I ever had a real “conversion moment,” but when I moved from Alabama to Mississippi when I was 15, I took it as a chance to reinvent myself and thankfully Christ took hold of my life. … Read MoreEmail Blake Thornell (blake null@null ccbtn NULL.org)
I was raised in a loving Christian family and received Christ as my savior around 6 or 7 years of age. In my teens some health issues were revealed that made enduring the bitter cold of winters of the Mid-west a challenge.
After graduating from high school I moved to the Northwest where the climate was less extreme and more doable for me. I started college and soon started dating my husband, Chad. After we were married the Lord started wooing me closer to Himself. … Read MoreEmail Angela Premoe (angela null@null ccbtn NULL.org)
